Dally Discourse
The
Dally in the Alley has decided to offer booth space, at no cost,
to political candidates. Under the moniker of "Dally Discourse,"
political candidates will be able to distribute information and
interact with constituents.
The
Dally in the Alley is a festival that takes place in the heart of
Detroit's cultural center and combines an eclectic mix of good food,
art, and music with a unique network of alleys. It is located between
Forest and Hancock and bordered by Second and Third, near the Wayne
State University area. It is held every year the Saturday after
Labor Day. This year, the festival falls on Saturday, September
11, 2004, from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
This
year marks the Dally in the Alley's 27th anniversary for organizers and Dally go-ers. The Dally attracts more than
30,000 people to this day long festival, a prime opportunity for
candidates to communicate face-to-face with voters.
